Privacy policy

Clear about your data.
And who we share it with.

How we collect, use and protect information—no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, and a plain list of every tool we run.

1. Introduction

At SolidQMS, we value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Cookie and Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit our website or use our services.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

Personal Information

When you create an account, make an inquiry or subscribe to updates, we collect the details needed for that request, such as your name, e-mail address, company, message and contact information. Contact and newsletter details are stored in their dedicated records, not copied into analytics events.

Usage Data

Our server records page requests, referrer, browser and device information, a masked IP address and approximate city, region and country. We also run Leadfeeder, a business tool that identifies the company a visit is likely to come from. Section 4 explains both, including the cookie Leadfeeder places.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and improve our SolidQMS services.
  • Respond to your inquiries and support requests.
  • Understand which pages and topics are useful, and improve the website.
  • Identify organisations showing interest in SolidQMS so our team can follow up on relevant business enquiries.
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect our legal rights.

4. Cookies & Analytics

No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking

We place one functional cookie for business visitor identification, described below. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not track you across other websites.

Website analytics (server-side)

To understand how the site performs, we use privacy-first analytics that run on our own server. This means:

  • No cookies are used for these analytics.
  • Only a masked IP address is stored on the visit record.
  • We keep per-visit technical data such as page, referrer, browser and device so we can understand site performance. Contact details and newsletter e-mail addresses are not stored in analytics events.
  • Our server briefly uses the requesting IP address with IPinfo to derive an approximate city, region and country. SolidQMS does not store the unmasked IP on the visit record.

Business visitor identification (Leadfeeder)

We also use Leadfeeder, a service from Dealfront Group GmbH, to recognise which organisations visit our website so our team can follow up on relevant business interest. Leadfeeder is aimed at identifying companies, not individual people. Concretely:

  • Leadfeeder runs a small script in your browser and places a first-party cookie (_lfa) on your device, which recognises returning visits to this website. It expires after two years.
  • Your full IP address is sent to Dealfront, which looks it up against a database of business networks to derive the likely company. It is not used to identify you personally.
  • Leadfeeder also records the pages you view on this site, the referrer, and basic browser and device information.
  • We do not receive your name or contact details from Leadfeeder. If we can reach the company, we use publicly available business contact information.
  • This cookie is not used for advertising and does not follow you to other websites.

You can opt out of Leadfeeder at any time via Dealfront's opt-out page, or by blocking cookies for this site in your browser. Blocking it has no effect on how the website works. Dealfront's own privacy policy is available at dealfront.com/privacy.

5. Data Sharing and Security

We do not sell personal data. We use service providers where necessary to operate the website and services, including hosting, e-mail delivery, IPinfo for approximate geolocation, and Dealfront (Leadfeeder) for business visitor identification as described in Section 4. They process data for those defined purposes. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights. We apply appropriate technical and organisational safeguards.

6. Your Data Rights

Under applicable data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Access and review your personal data.
  • Request corrections or updates to your information.
  • Request the deletion of your personal data.
  • Withdraw your consent to data processing, where applicable, including opting out of Leadfeeder as described in Section 4.

To exercise your rights, please contact us at info@solidqms.com.

7. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. This policy does not apply to those websites, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie and Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with the updated effective date.
