Quality Shouldn't Require Effort
We started as quality managers and engineers who were fed up with the tools we were given. So we built the one we wished we'd had.
How It All Started
It started on the hangar floor
Before SolidQMS was a product, it was a frustration. Our founders came from aeronautics, having spent years maintaining aircraft, managing safety systems, and navigating audits where every detail matters. In that world, a missed step isn't a minor annoyance. It can ground a fleet or compromise safety. They lived quality management from the inside and knew exactly where it broke down: binders full of procedures nobody read, audits that felt like fire drills, and skilled people spending their days on administration instead of the work they were trained for.
Looking for the root cause
The problem was never people; it was the tools they were given. Existing QMS platforms were built to satisfy auditors, not to support the teams doing the actual work. That realization brought together an unusual group: aeronautical engineers who understood regulated environments from the ground up, and seasoned software professionals who knew how to build systems that people genuinely want to use. Together they spent three years researching, prototyping, and stress-testing ideas with quality managers across manufacturing, aviation, logistics, and healthcare. The goal was simple: learn what actually works when theory meets the shop floor.
SolidQMS goes live
Built from Haarlem, the Netherlands, SolidQMS launched as a holistic platform. Not just another checklist tool, but an integrated system where documents, processes, audits, risks, and improvements all connect. That vision came directly from practice: in aeronautics, you learn fast that quality isn't one department's job. It runs through everything. We built SolidQMS the same way, so compliance lives inside your daily work, not on top of it.
Building it together
Organizations across Europe now use SolidQMS to run leaner, pass audits with confidence, and give their teams time back. But we'd be the first to say: we don't have all the answers. Every industry has its own reality, its own edge cases, its own way of working. That's why the best ideas in our roadmap often come from the people using the platform. Quality managers who call us after an audit with a suggestion, or a shop floor lead who spots a workflow we hadn't considered. We're a small team that listens, learns, and ships, and that's how we intend to stay.
The story continues, and our customers help write it.
Mission & Vision
Your team shouldn't need a second job to stay compliant.
We build one platform that handles the processes, documents, and evidence your auditor needs, so your people can focus on the work they were actually hired for.
Quality that lives in the work, not on top of it.
We're working toward a world where compliance isn't a separate activity. It happens automatically as your team follows their normal processes, no extra steps, no extra burden.
You pass your audit without breaking a sweat.
That's when we know it's working. Your processes run, your evidence is there, your team is confident. No fire drills, no late nights pulling records together.
Curious how we'd approach your situation?
We're a small team, you'll talk to the people who actually build and implement the product. No scripts, no hand-offs.
